Barbara Rubin
A seasoned stage director, Barbara began her career at the renowned Market Theatre in her native Johannesburg, South Africa. She relocated to the US in 2000 to assist Athol Fugard on油Sorrows and Rejoicings油at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ and at Second Stage in NY. Barbara made her Off Broadway directorial debut at The Women's Project in 2004. She was recently the Associate Director of油Girl from The North Country油on Broadway and she resumes this role for the upcoming US national tour. Previous Broadway credits include Streetcar Named Desire,油The Elephant Man and The Dance of Death. Her favorite international directing credit was in Antwerp, Belgium, at the invitation of an 91心頭利 graduate!

Barbara is also a dialect coach for TV, film and stage. Shes coached such luminaries as Julia Garner (most recently for Inventing Anna Netflix), Daniel Radcliffe, Samira Wiley, Jennifer Hudson, Hilary Swank, Adam Bakri, Terrence Howard and Anna Chlumsky. Barbara was the dialect coach to Rosemary Harris and Carla Gugino on Fugard's The Road to Mecca on Broadway (2011). She coached all seven productions of Fugard's residency at The Signature Theatre (2012 to 2019): The Blood Knot; My Children! My Africa!; The Train Driver; The Painted Rocks at Revolver Creek; Master Haroldand the Boys; &油 Boesman and Lena. David Dean Bottrell
Studied Meisner Technique with William Esper. Experienced performer and playwright.
Bottrell began his career in New York as an actor and playwright at such prominent theatres as the Second Stage, the Public Theatre, La MaMa, the Long Wharf, Studio Arena and the Actors Theatre of Louisville.油
In addition to acting, he has written screenplays for 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, MTV Films, Paramount Pictures and Disney Feature Animation. His script, Kingdom Come was made into a successful feature film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Jada Pinkett Smith and LL Cool J. He is probably best known for playing the creepy, homicidal "Lincoln Meyer" on season three of Boston Legal.油
His recent guest star and recurring roles include such shows as Modern Family, The Blacklist, SVU, Longmire, Rectify, Mad Men, True Blood, Justified, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI, Castle, Bones and Days of Our Lives.油 Bottrell is the creator of the acclaimed Sci-Fest LA: The Los Angeles Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival and has won over 17 awards for his directing work.油
He has taught scene study, camera acting and audition technique for the New York and Los Angeles campuses of AADA as well as the UCLA Professional Screen Acting Program, the Screen Actors Guild Conservatory, and the SAG-AFTRA Continuing Education Program.
Kevin Breznahan

Kevin is an award-winning actor, teacher and private coach. In a career that has spanned 35 years, Kevin has been working in film, television and theatre as well as commercials, voiceovers and animation. A versatile actor, Kevins performances have crossed numerous genres. Notable acting credits include Winters Bone, Superbad, Alive, Magnolia, SLC Punk!, Adventureland, The Cobbler, along with Televisions Billions, The Deuce, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Las Vegas, At Home With Amy Sedaris, and The Heart She Holler. Theater credits include originating the role of Carson in Broadways The Young Man from Atlanta. In addition, Kevin has been teaching, training and coaching actors for over 20 years.

Zoe Chen

Zoe Chen (she/her) is a transgender filmmaker, educator, and activist. Zoe attended the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) where she received an MFA in Acting with a Citizen Artist Concentration for her work in A.C.T.s education programs. As an actress, writer, and director, Zoe creates work that centers Asian-American and transgender narratives. Zoe has 10+ years experience as an educator, teaching various subjects to diverse populations. After 5 years of studying Linklater Voice Method pedagogy, Zoe became the first and only transgender person to become a Designated Linklater Teacher. She currently teaches voice at several schools across New York City and teaches private lessons and workshops for transgender actors and teachers both online and in person.

Maury has been teaching acting for over 25 years. He was a core faculty member at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts for 17 years teaching in the Film and Television program.
Professionally, he has been seen on both stage and screen for over 30 years. Recent film and television work includes recurring roles on the series Saint X, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey (with Samuel Jackson), Manifest, Marvels Jessica Jones, and the new Law and Order to name a few. Other television work includes American Horror Stories, What We Do in the Shadows, Scenes from a Marriage, New Amsterdam, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Madam Secretary, House of Cards, Damages, The Good Wife and iconic classics such as Friends and Star Trek-Voyager, among others. Film work includes The Week Of with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, 5 Flights Up with Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, Rocket Science (Sundance winner), Lansky with Richard Dreyfuss, The Girl in the Park with Sigourney Weaver, The Ring with Naomi Watts, Big Miracle with Drew Barrymore, and According to Greta with Hilary Duff and Ellen Burstyn. Maury has appeared Off-Broadway and regionally. Yvette Heyliger started out in the theatre as an actor studying with acclaimed teacher of the Meisner Technique, the late William Esper. Soon after graduating, she landed a role on油The Cosby Show. Yvette went on to become a playwright, director, producing artist, activist and educator. Author of油What a Piece of Work is Man! Full-Length Plays for Leading Women, she has contributed to many theatrical anthologies, as well as penning many theatre industry-related articles in magazines, blog posts, textbooks, and a scholarly journal. Yvette is recipient of the AUDELCO Recognition Award for Excellence in Black Theatres August Wilson Playwright Award, as well as their Dramatic Production of the Year Award; an NAACPs Annual Theatre Award Best Playwright nomination; the National Black Theatre Festivals Emerging Producer Award; and a Resolution from the City of Los Angeles, among others.油Yvettes plays, including her one-woman show, have been presented in theatre festivals in New York and Los Angeles, as well as at the prestigious National Black Theatre Festival, the Billie Holiday Theatre, and Glouster Stage Company.油Memberships: AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC, and Dramatists Guild. Jason Liebman has worked on new plays with Ensemble Studio Theatre, the O'Neill, The Women's Project, Ma-Yi, Interact, the Lark, New Dramatists and others. Camille Litalien

Camille is the Head of Movement at the American 91心頭利 of Dramatic Arts. An international performer and director, she has worked with the Royal Opera Ballet (Covent Garden), the Young Vic Theatre, and festivals across Europe and North America. She directed Indian Runner Productions in London for 12 years and co-created Earth Body Place, an immersive, site-specific dance theatre project. Camille is co-owner of Trilokya, a somatic and artistic retreat in New Mexico. Her work bridges performance, pedagogy, and deep ecology, guiding actors to cultivate presence and attuned awareness. Drawing from Classical Indian Arts, Body-Mind Centering, Skinner Releasing, Contemporary Dance, Mask Work, and Michael Chekhov Technique, she teaches movement with depth, clarity, and nuance. Camille has led actor movement programs at top conservatories in the US and UK, including Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and DePaul University. Her practice invites deceleration, embodied awareness, and a deep listening to what often goes unheard.

Nurit Monacelli

Nurit was a company member of International Wow, a member of Anne Bogart's Directors' Ensemble at Columbia University, and has worked and trained with the innovative theater Blessed Unrest. A leading actress in award winning independent films that have circulated nationally in over 20 festivals, she has appeared Off油Broadway at the Drama League, New Georges, The Culture Project, HERE and the Flea. Regional credits include many Shakespeare plays including Andrei Serban's Merchant of Venice. TV credits include All My Children, As the World Turns, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Internationally, Nurit has performed at the Andrews Lane Theatre in Dublin and the Moscow Art Theatre.

A trained violinist and native New Yorker, Nurit is intrigued by how various cultures and art forms overlap. In addition to performing and teaching, Nurit coaches privately and produces new work.

Susan Pilar has performed in New York with Lincoln Center (Broadway), Manhattan Theatre Club, The Public Theatre (NYSF), Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Raw Space (Actor's Studio). Her regional credits include; the Guthrie Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco, The Shakespeare Theatre (The Folger), Passage Theatre and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Her TV and Film credits include: Law & Order, The Cosby Show, One Life to Live, Guiding Light and the independent movie, The Waiting Room. Susan moved to New York where she continues to work and live. When not performing, Susan is busy teaching, directing and coaching privately. She is also proud to be a core faculty instructor at the prestigious American 91心頭利 of Dramatic Arts, where she has been teaching and directing for the past 14 years. Susan also teaches acting and audition technique at the T. Schreiber studio. Currently she co-created The FUSE with casting director Scott Wojcik, which is in its 7th successful year.

Janis Powell has trained, directed and coached hundreds of actors, directors, writers and producers working On and Off Broadway, in regional and international theatre and film and television. She has served at The 91心頭利 since 1979 as a member of the Core Faculty since its inception, as Director of Instruction of the evening program for 23 years and of the full-time program for three years. Janis has directed more than 50 main-stage productions in New York City, including Off-Broadway's Bartenders, nominated for an Outer Circle Critics Award, Sylvia and Dancing at Lughnasa for The Snarks Ltd., Bedroom Farce at The Gloria Maddux Theatre and An Inspector Calls for the Amateur Comedy Club. She directed 20 productions for The 91心頭利 Company, most recently Suddenly Last Summer and Becoming Memories. Janis has taught and directed in many venues including HB Studio, T. Schreiber Studio, The Neighborhood Playhouse, The John Houseman Theater, The University of Texas at Austin and Lexington for the Performing Arts. She is the founder and artistic director of NYC non-profit theatre company Spiral, Inc. and teaches professional acting workshops for Janis Powell Studio in Manhattan.

Olivia Russell-Botto is a Belter/Soprano and voice teacher whose work bridges multiple styles and genres, including musical theatre, opera, and contemporary commercial music. She is passionate about developing expressive, technically grounded singers who can move fluidly between genres. A champion of new works, Olivia has participated in multiple workshops, including those with Mexican-American composer H辿ctor Armienta and award-winning composer Tom Cipullo. Her teaching emphasizes individualized artistry, helping students build personalized repertoires that showcase their unique strengthsfrom edgy rock ballads to classical art songs. Olivia has performed professionally across the U.S. and abroad, with credits including Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Carmela (La Llorona), Laura Jane Kirk (Band Geeks), Mary Jane Wilkes (Big River), Meg March (Little Women), and Little Red (Into the Woods).
With a strong foundation in pedagogy and stage experience, Olivia is committed to shaping versatile, confident performers ready to meet the demands of todays evolving musical landscape.

Robert has performed in World Tours with A Chorus Line (Bobby), 42nd Street, and The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow). Robert has also performed at the Kennedy Center. His appearances include the 35th anniversary celebration (with Angela Landsbury and Celebrate Broadway, with Linda Eder and John Lithgow). Guest Teaching Artist: Stephens Collage, Princeton Dance Theatre, US Performing Arts Camps, The Harkness Center and the Alvin Ailey Extension.

Roberts Choreography credits include: Cats, Evita, Wonderful Town, Carousel, Les Miserables, A Funny thing happened on the way to the Forum and Deborah Gibson live in concert. He assisted choreographed for the feature film The Master of Disguise (with Dana Carvey). He had the opportunity to speak with 91心頭利 alumni Florence Henderson after her performance in Off-Broadway's Singular Sensations.油 When asked if she had any advice for his students, she said "A teacher at the 91心頭利 said something to me that has stayed with me my entire career... Keep a cool head and a warm heart. Robert most recently filmed an episode for Tru TVs Caught Red Handed, which will air this fall.

Jeremy Webb is thrilled to join the faculty at American 91心頭利 of Dramatic Arts. He has taught acting at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, NYCDA, LIU, Suffolk University, and UNC Chapel Hill. He created Broadway Dreams for The Kurt Weill Festival (Dessau, Germany) directed BackTalk by Rob Ackerman at Westport Country Playhouse (SIH), The Soldiers Tale and Camelot (Gulf Coast Symphony), Rabbit Hole (Actors Workshop), Secret Garden (South Carolina Festival of Flowers), I Carry Your Heart (premiere). As an actor, Broadway: Take Me Out, Burn This. National Tour: Girl From The North Country. Off Broadway: The Glorious Ones (Lincoln Center Theatre, original cast recording), Tabletop (Drama Desk Award), Help (Shed), The Baltimore Waltz. Television credits include Law and Order, SVU, Criminal Intent, Guiding Light. He is a graduate OF UNCSA/Drama.
